The Pook 1938 is a high-quality automatic watch with the spirit of 70’s designed by Andreas Prepula. It is also a faithful for all Pook watches, with unique attitude. The dial and hands have a double coated lume so it doesn’t go unnoticed. The watch has a high-quality stainless-steel case and the strap is made of a nylon fabric. Movement is Japanese premium automatic Miyota 9039. The serial numbered watch is handmade, a limited edition only to 100 pieces. Pook Ahjo’s story is Jani Ikonen’s story. He is a watchmaker with decades of experience, who has his own business in Joensuu called Kello-Ahjo. In Kello-Ahjo, all watchmaking work is done, from battery replacement to the manufacture of individual mechanical components. Jani became Pook’s partner a couple of years ago, when it was decided to take over the assembly of Pook’s watches, and starts assembling the watches himself. The modern dive watch with the hint of vintage taste. Pook Kompressor serie has been made for demanding use in aquatic conditions. Kompressor has legible SWISS lume-filled dials and rotating dive bezels that could be used to calculate the amount of time spent underwater. The wide dial and large hands makes it easy to read even in the most difficult conditions. Surrounding bezel only turns counterclockwise and features markings every five minutes.
