Pookwatches watch designer Andreas has long wanted to make a watch for Pook aimed at women with a strong emotional connection to the sea and the sea archipelago. Pook Saaristo is the first Pook watch made specifically for women. – The sea will always be close to my heart, just like it was for my father. In the 1970s, when I was a young boy, we went almost daily, sometimes weekly, with my father on diving trips, boat trips, sailing trips, there were many trips but mostly almost always at sea and of course in the summer. In other words, I felt that summer days were full of adventure, camping and diving trips in the archipelago sea. We went on trips guided by my father in almost any weather, for a young boy it was scary at times, but my father’s sure grips mostly managed to put the fear aside even in the worst weather of the archipelago, maybe afterwards it feels crazier than in those situations. However, all these childhood days near the Archipelago Sea were full of joy, both in the good and the worst moments of the teenager.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I have wonderful and dear memories from my childhood. My father was a professional diver, he did underwater welding and other demanding underwater projects as a job. It was only after my childhood that it became clear to me that the time I spent together with my father was a real source of inspiration for me. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pook Saaristo is designed as a multi-purpose women’s watch, it can be used for both work and leisure time. The watch, designed in Joensuu and assembled in Pook’s workshop, is granted an exceptionally long warranty of 3 years. Watches are made only in a limited, serially numbered batch of 100 pieces. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The sea and its archipelago are also important to Kelloliike Salonen’s Hanna-Marja Rosenberg. Kelloliike Salonen, located in Turku, is a nearly 100-year-old watch shop. From the beginning, it has stood out among Pook’s dealers as a very active, realtime smiley. Many watch buyers have fallen in love with the warm and enthusiastic way in which the customer is met. Hanna-Maija: – I have actually worked as a sales assistant in a watch shop for over 11 years, and my summer hobbies include sailing in our wonderful archipelago, so Pook’s watches caught my attention right away. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In a sailboat, even an entrepreneur can relax, watch birds and other life in the archipelago. In addition, watchmaker Antti and seller Marika also work in the watch shop.
